Conformance checking in ProM – Video

In this step we explain how you can apply conformance checking in ProM.

In this video we use the ‘Artificial – Loan Process.xes.gz’ event log first, and then the ‘BPI_Challenge_2012_AO.xes.gz’ event log.

Updates

  • In the video, the silent transitions have a gray fill, whereas in ProM Lite 1.2 they have a black fill.
  • The model discovered by the Inductive miner in the video differs from the model discovered by the Inductive miner in ProM Lite 1.2, as the Inductive miner has been improved since the video was made. Trace fitness is also better (higher) now. Nevertheless, some ‘yellow’ (move on log) places are still there.
  • In the Inductive Visual Miner, the concept:name classifier is preselected in ProM Lite 1.2. Again, the discovered model differs a bit from the one in the video. For example, the self loop deviation with “200” is not there anymore.
